Architect Fola Alade's typical designs are characterized by his unique style and signature depicting simplicity, with his straight lines often translating into curves and circles exhibiting his love for exploring interesting forms in his designs, while also adapting to what he described as “Native” Architecture, and adopting motifs, forms, character, traditional concepts of the diverse Nigerian cultures.

A very proud Nigerian who really valued his heritage, he was a strong proponent of the Nigerian Traditional Architecture which he exhibited in his designs at every given opportunity.
