Community Services Rendered By Chief (Arc.) Isaac Fola Alade,OFR

Chief (Arc.) Fola Alade, OFR was one of the members of the valiant, resourceful, committed and very dynamic patriots known as the “BIRI” Committee members who relentlessly worked to ensure that The Diocese of Ekiti West (Anglican Communion) was birthed on the 22nd of November, 1999. The members of the BIRI Committee were:
* The late Otunba Adebodun Adewumi (Chairman)
* Chief (Arc.) Fola Alade, OFR
* (Vice Chairman) * The Most Rev'd Abiodun Adetiloye (of blessed memory)
* the late Mr. Okunade Familoni
* late Oba Idowu Babade, the Owa of Oke-Oro
* Chief Sam O. Bolarinde (Secretary).
They provided the soft ground on which the distinguished tripods of creation of Ekiti West Diocese of the Anglican Church solidly rested for an effective take off till date.

He was a past Chairman, Ekiti Parapo Organisation in Nigeria.

He was a past President of Christ's School, Ado Ekiti, Alumni Association.

He was Chairman and Project Coordinator of Aramoko Ekiti Development Council.

He voluntarily designed the Master Plan of Ekiti State at the creation of the state gratis in 1997.

He designed all twenty- six local Government Headquarter Of?ces for Ondo Stategratis in 1976.

He carried out designs for several communities, Places of Worship , Schools, Palaces, and Private Residential homes for his family and friends gratis.

He served as the Diocesan Architect of the Lagos Anglican Diocese with the former Primate of the Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev'd Abiodun Adetiloye for many years.

For his 70th birthday, he requested his family and friends to monetise his birthday gifts with which he donated an AUTOCAD Lab ?tted with 20 work stations to the Department of Architecture at the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ife named ISAAC FOLA ALADE CADD LAB in 2005.

He established the Legacy Computer Literacy Centre in Aramoko Ekiti upon his ?nal retirement to his home town to enhance the quality of ICT literacy in the region since he was able to learn to use the AUTOCAD at the age of sixty.
